東急ハンズの裏手にある映画配給会社「スローラーナー」で映画の宣伝を手がける四方智子さんは、京橋の映画美学校を出て渋谷の映画館などで働いた後、映画宣伝の仕事に携わるようになった。四方さんのbookmarkは、「Bunkamuraシアターコクーン」。「去年の夏に観た『キレイ〜神様と待ち合わせした女〜』という演劇が印象的。終戦後の近未来を描いた物語なので設定に難しさもあったけれど、シリアスさとユーモアが入り混じって、おもちゃ箱のようで楽しめたし、その場で演じる演劇ならではの舞台とお客さんの一体感や臨場感を感じた。また、以前『東京国際映画祭』という映画祭を観に行ったとき、同じくシアターコクーンで映画を上映していて、照明や音響など、舞台と映画のどちらにも劇場の特性が活かされているようで新鮮だった。」仕事柄、映画はたくさん観ているが、主に舞台を上演する劇場での映画鑑賞はまた別の感じ方があるようだ。「渋谷は街自体に流行が見えて、外を歩く人を見ているだけでも楽しいし、映画の宣伝をする際にも参考になる。渋谷は誰でも受け入れる懐の広さがあるので、地方から最初に渋谷に出てきて、そこから代官山、新宿、下北沢など、それぞれの人に合った場所を見つける『入り口』のような街だと思う。映画館だけ取っても様々な劇場があり、上映する映画の色も個性的なので、自分に合う劇場を探すのも楽しい」と語ってくれた。
