Memorial 75th Anniversary "George · Harrison I · Me · Mine Exhibition"

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of George Harrison's birth, the “George Harrison Eye Me Mine Exhibition” will be held from February 17 (Sat), 2018, at Shibuya Hikarie 8 / ART GALLERY / Tomio Koyama Gallery.

The same exhibition that was held in Los Angeles last February and in London in June. Planning that focused on George Harrison who was a member of former Beatles and passed away in 2001 is realized with the full cooperation of George's wife Olivia. The main exhibits include reprinted versions of 22 manuscripts including representative songs including "I Me Mine" which was written during The Beatles era, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Here Comes the Sun" 11 family photographs including public treasures before debut as The Beatles from early childhood are released. Among them, unheard song "Hey Ringo" that I gave to Ringo Starr has long been noted as having slept at home studio recently.

In addition, as a special project in Japan, valuable items such as costumes worn by George at the last live of the Beatles era and autograph code notes wrote in recording at Abbey Road Studios are scheduled to be released. In addition, the related event "The 75th Anniversary HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE" in collaboration with J-wave will be held at Shibuya Hikarie 8 / COURT adjacent to the gallery site from 19:00 on February 23 (Fri). J-wave navigator Sacha will act as MC, and THE BAWDIES vocal ROY, guitar TAXMAN, and the Beatles club commentator will be on stage for a talk event. Admission fee is 3,000 yen.
