The Hackasson event "Shibuya Minoru Special Zone Plan - Dogenzaka Flowerbed Hakko" - aiming to solve a small problem in the city of Shibuya will be held at Shibuya · loftwork COOOP 10 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. The organizer is Shibuya Hack Project (Shibuya Huck Project).

The Shibuya Huck Project is an attempt to set up an experimental project on objects and spaces hidden in the city of Shibuya to discover the charm and possibilities of the new city and to make the entire city of Shibuya exciting. We held street events set in the city of Shibuya such as "Shibuya Heights Club" and "Street Furniture" in the past and found out the unexpected charm and value of Shibuya that I had overlooked with the participants everyday. It was.

In this event, while a large-scale redevelopment progresses, in order to solve a small problem at the citizen level which is left behind, Hackasson is conducted with the theme of "flower bed" gently standing in the pedestrian passage of Shibuya Dogenzaka . Every day, Dogenosaka where many people come and go, there are not many people looking to the "flower beds" along the way. "The flower of the flower bed is stolen, it is crushed" "There are many problems unique to the city, such as the fact that tobacco and empty cans are thrown away in the flower bed from the replanted place", "garbage accumulates around the flower bed" It seems that people involved in the Dogenzaka shopping mall that takes care of the head are bothering me. On the other hand, the same space near the station can be said to have a high potential as a new public space.

On the day of the event, we will focus on the issues faced by small areas called "Shibuya Dogenza flower bed" together with 15 participants and will take a day to approach the problem solving. Guests include Mr. Hasegawa Yosuke, president of Dogenzaka Youth Association as local representative, Mr. Yosuke Ohnishi as vice chairman, Mr. Hatsu Ishikawa of Keio University professor who challenges new urban design, Architectural unit with the theme of small city planning miri -meter, find out the clue of solution based on the story of stakeholders and experts. While hinted at "HACK Tour" that came out here, we aim to realize a new public space.
