More fun Shibuya! People who work, learn people, play information site for people

I appreciated "Flanders"

GW ended while wandering around the neighborhood. I guess you guys made a lot of fun memories. By the way, people asked me what I did to GW last year or the year before last, but I can not remember at all. I realized that the memory was getting worse and I did not do anything like simply becoming memories. ...... Oh crap, I got lonely a little lonely.

Well, it was such a golden week, but I went to see some movies. Although I also saw a masterpiece for families, basically, because the movie goes alone, at that kind of theater we still have a little floating. In exchange, the mini theater in Shibuya depends on the work, but in most cases, the proportion of single customers is high and it is somehow calmer. Among them, one of favorite movie theatersEuro SpaceI saw it with"Flemish"A work called. It was a movie resounded heavily with Zushiri for GW's floating feeling.

I read the plot in advance, I knew that I was dealing with serious themes of sexual and violence, but when I actually watch it, it's more heavy than I expected. It is said that there is power in the picture, there is nothing such as an exaggerated production etc. (There is almost no music), but it was a movie that seems to be weighty in each scene, although it is only telling the facts.

The main character is men and women living in the Flemish region of France. They are friends, but a subtle relationship that looks like a lover. But this shadowy woman easily sexually interacts with many men and eventually will house this male friend's child. Soon afterwards, the man is driven into a battlefield and fights against the wilderness of the Middle Eastern region (where the place is not specified in the movie), but the depiction there is a word of casualties. Where are these violent instincts coming out from the men who lived in pastoral rural areas till then? I was shocked by the continuity of cruel images.

Soon of this platoon, only this man will survive and return to the Flanders region to see that woman again. But can the sin be forgiven? With regard to the themes thrown by the work, etc., I was made to think about it on the way back.

There is no clear ending, but probably the reality is that kind of thing. It was a very impressive movie. We are screening until May 18th so come on!
