Music festival report in 2008
Over the 2 days of October 11 and 12"Yokohama Jazz · Promenade"Was held. The venue is in Yokohama, but the same festival that you can go from Shibuya by Toyoko Line with one can be a big jazz festa closest to Shibuya if you think about it.
When this festival is over, the music festival season lasted for several months from summer is finally finished. So I will report on the summer fest I covered in this blog.
When I was a high school student, I also went to the rock festival thoroughly ... but to Ozzi who is 39 years old this year, it is mentally and physically It is a little hard. So, recently, both in work and private, the festival you visit has become dominated by most of the jazz and world music series (yea all?).
Among the various festivals I got impressed was "La 33" 's Japan tour. La 33 is a Colombian salsa band that pronounces "La Trenta y Torres". This summer, I did the first Japan tour and showed exciting dance nunder at the club all over the country (Photo 1).
La 33 is a salsa band, not a pure salsa, but a band in which jazz, latin, and mixtures, with the club youth in mind, were comfortably blended together (Photo 2).Not only the live but its sound source was heavily rotated to DJ.
Hometown Featuring traditional Colombian musical instruments, I also showed the aspect as roots music firmly (Picture 3).The La 33 CD is handled by JAZZ / Rare Groove House of Disk Union in Shibuya.
There was still a cheerful live of the artists who came to Japan with music festival. Continuously I would like to report live by each artist next time.
