The biggest street dance festival in Japan "Shibuya Street Dance Week 2018 (SSDW)" will be held in the Shibuya area at Yoyogi Park in the main venue from November 19th (Monday) to 25th (Sunday). Organized by Arts Council Tokyo, Shibuya Street Dance Week Executive Committee.

The event, which started in 2015, is held every November from the purpose of establishing "street dance" as a new art culture and sending high-quality entertainment from Japan and abroad from the sanctuary "Shibuya" of street dance . We will connect stages, participatory events, workshops, talk shows, etc. by dancers of the world's highest level, connecting the artists (dancers), participants (audiences) and the stage (stage), in the city of Shibuya for a week.

As a Japanese dancer from the Adidas original, a popular dance unit "RADIOFISH" who receives the sponsored contract for the first time is appointed for holding this year's event. We will bring excitement together with KENZO of "DA PUMP" who was a dance director last year.

On the 25th (Sunday) at the main event held at Yoyogi Park, in addition to performances such as each dance studio, kids dance, young dancer team Alaventa with many victories in overseas world competitions, RIEHATATOKYO From Dr. SWAG and QueenMe, 19 dancer crews such as GANMI, skilled dancers develop special dance showcases (25th 11: 15 ~ 15: 50). In addition, high school student competing street dance championship "SSDW CONTEST" (25th 12: 20-14: 00) held annually this year also held. Teams from all over the country belonging to school-approved dance department (including deemed dance department) participate and compete at the top of the country with dance performance. In the dance battle "BATTLE 1 PARK" (25th 11: 15 - 15: 15) without a professional dancer, each genre dancer who won the solo auction in each genre of "hip hop" "pop" "rock" "freestyle" People gathered. On the day, we will set up an instant team (one pair of 4 people) with one representative from each genre and make a fierce dance battle aiming for the victory.

プロダンサーによるステージやダンスバトルのほか、会場では「初心者や一般向けのワークショップ」として、プロダンサーが指導する無料の「青空ダンス教室」も開催。ヒップホップ教室（25日11:15〜12:15）、ジャズヒップホップ＆ポップ教室（25日12:30〜13:30）、ソウル＆ロック教室（25日13:50〜14:50）。定員は各回100人、参加費は無料。

イベントフィナーレを飾るのは、恒例企画となっているみんなで踊るオープンプログラム「DANCE WITH music」。今年のテーマソングは、ダンスグループBeat Buddy BoiのToyotakaがオリジナル曲「「Beautiful Monday」」を書き下ろし、唄・振り付けはBeat Buddy Boiが担当。現在、下記の動画が公式ページで公開されているため、イベント当日までに振り付けを覚えて、Beat Buddy Boiと一緒に踊ってみてはいかがだろうか。
