植物がすくすくと成長する梅雨の入り口。人工物に囲まれた東京にいても、雨上がりの透き通った空気に指す太陽のありがたさと光の美しさにしみじみと感じ入る瞬間がある。徹夜した日の朝焼けのピンク、肌を焼くほどに照りつける日中のキイロい日光、夕刻のオレンジ…太陽の光は時間とともに変化して、優しく厳しく私達の生活を見守る。これから夏に向けて厳しい日光から肌を守っていくことも必要だが、一方でやはり太陽の下でのびのびするのは心地いいもの。今回はそんな「光」に着目。渋谷区で公開中の映画、開催中の展示会を紹介する。 カメラの特性を利用して独創的な光の世界を描き出す写真、光をメタファーとして人間の欲望の在処を照らしだすメキシコ映画、夜の渋谷をモノクロで捉えるという逆転的なアプローチで光を感じさせる映画。幅広い切り口で表現される豊かな光の世界を堪能したい。
