　前回の『渋谷ジャム・セッション』の最後で告知したアルバム『森村献／マンテカ』が、いよいよこの18日に発売となる。森村氏は『オルケスタ・デル・ソル』『熱帯ジャズ楽団』etc日本を代表するラテンバンドで活躍するピアニスト。ここ３０年間の日本ラテン音楽シーンを牽引してきた人物だ（写真1）。

　 今回の日記では、森村氏自らにアルバムについて、そして自身と渋谷との関わりについて語ってもらった。

　同アルバムは森村献の様々に変化するピアノプレイのみならず、豪華客演陣も魅力となっている。神保、本田のフュージョン・スター・プレイヤー以外にも、外山明（ds）、都筑章浩（per）ら、ジャズ、ラテン界の実力派が多数結集してサウンドの足場を固めている（写真3）。
